Berjesty currently works at Shopify as a UX Manager and leads UX teams working on immersive applications.

She is a digital design and product strategist, with a wealth of experience running in-house design teams. She is leading a multidisciplinary User Experience team at Shopify, focusing on helping Shopify's merchants to grow their business and sell on Facebook and Instagram.

Before moving to Shopify, Berjesty lead UX teams for Telus Digital and Scotiabank. She thought as a lead UX professor at General Assembly in Toronto for 2+ years while helping startups to scale.

Berjesty worked at Telus Digital for 2+ years, leading and delivering design solutions for digital products in My Telus website and app. Prior to Telus Digital, Berjesty managed multidisciplinary teams at Scotiabank for 7+ years designing digital products for multiple teams across the bank.

Berjesty has a Masters specializing in User Experience Design and Information Systems Design from University of Toronto. She is a passionate technophile, operates at a strategic level, helping organisations to achieve business goals with high-performing design teams.
